Absolutely stunning brooch and earring set from the 1950's by designer Alice Caviness. The large round brooch with opal glass dangles features a knockout centerpiece cabochon and yellow prong set stones in various cuts. The dangles are comprised of teardrop opal glass and shorter lengths of opalescent chatons. Very sophisticated design. The earrings are another matter altogether! Each dramatic clip on piece has various yellow prong set stones at the ear with two opal glass dangles that hang down long enough to brush the shoulder. Gorgeous mint condition. Signed on each piece Alice Caviness.
