Here in Texas the pansies are in full bloom!!! So, a little early for spring, but beautiful none the less!!! Truly amazing lampwork from Barbara Svetlick in the form of three pansies and one cute little busy bee! No one does flowers better than Barb and the little bee is a special bonus! The three flowers are just extraordinary, gorgeous striations of color in these "beads". The petals are sculptured and the color is just swirled so wonderfully throughout. Each center is a beautiful shade of cranberry/red with a bright yellow glass accent. The leaf accent is also from Barbara, a rich lustrous green sculpted so graciously. And... one little busy bee! Just adorable getting ready to land on the pansy. He is a swirl of golds and browns encased in clear glass. His little head is dark brown and his wings are clear. I hope you can see the detail on the wings, just spectacular! A fabulous set of five lampwork beads from the artistic master of this technique!!!! Not much else for a jewelry maker to do except let this art stand on its own! I used deep green Austrian faceted square crystals as a backdrop for this floral garden. More faceted crystals in green and amber complete the color story. Again, not wanting to take away from the focal, I added in two beautifully carved sterling silver beads on either side of the grouping, as well as more sterling silver in additional beads and spacers, just for a little "sparkle". A sterling silver toggle finishes it off simply, yet elegantly. This bracelet is 9" in length, but no problem at all to shorten. As most of you know, once Barb creates an item she rarely repeats herself, and believe me I look. This is one of my two last little "bee" beads, so you know how unique this bracelet is. I hate to part with my little "bizzy bee's", but they're anxious for spring, too!!!!!

Care instructions: The lampwork is kiln annealed for strength. However, the petals are delicate, so be careful please!!! Polish the sterling with a soft cloth, no harsh chemicals or abrasives, please.
