About Us
Hope you all had a wonderful summer filled with laughter and love.

We had the best summer and I didn't know I would enjoy a zoo this much.
Sky loves zoo so we went almost every other week and I honestly enjoyed myself every time;)

Sky is 2.5years old now so I am slowly expending Sky Dreams with a huge support from my husband.

I recently accepted an invitation to an art site called 'Soleyne'.
They are inviting 2500 artists to host and I really loved their concept and quality.
It is still in beta mode and will go public in few weeks.
My husband laughs at me because I call myself artisan and have my items on art site;)

I also accepted 2 more wholesale accounts.
One is very well known upscale shop in Cincinnati and the other is a new shop that will open at the end of this year.
So at the moment, I have 5 wholesale account.

Thanks to all of your support, Sky Dreams is 2 years old this month!
I didn't have any sale for a month when I first started Sky Dreams and cried my eyes out then it happened very fast.
It has grown from a stay at home mom's part time job to a full time job in 2 years.
I am planning on adding more gold items later this year, will be mainly 18k yellow gold unless you tell me what you like to see:)

********* A Little About Me ********

My name is Hee Soon.

I live with my husband and our hybrid baby Sky. I make jewelry while Sky
sleeps so my husband named my business 'Sky Dreams'. I have been living
my life around making jewelry for 3 years now.
My husband is the one who is responsible for my business. I designed a
ring for his birthday and had it custom made for him. A few years later,
Cartier came out with the same design for women and called it 'Tank
Ring.' After seeing that, my husband bought me tools and 'how to' books.

I still didn't think I had what it takes to be a designer so a few years
passed by. Then in 2005, he took me to a bead show and the rest is
history. Since that fateful day, I don't think a day went by without me
thinking about jewelry or talking about jewelry.

Stones and colors speak to me. Nature inspires me. I rarely sit down and
design. I let colors and stones guide my eyes and I get the best
designs that way. That is why my designs range from very romantic and
feminine to modern and simple to even bold.
I always try to use findings to enhance the beauty of stones and I spend
too much time trying to find findings I want. So, I decided to make
them myself. At the moment, I am very much in love with wire wrapping
for its intimacy and the possibilities it allows me. Wire wrapping
allows me to make my own findings in very personal and organic way. I
forge and shape frames by bare hand with very little help from tools,
then wire wrap it with various gauge of wires. All my wishes and dreams
for that piece and its wearer will be felt by the wearer and what an
intimate connection that is. I am planing on including metal clay in
my work as findings in the future.

Making jewelry is my passion. I can't imagine doing anything else. I
love what I do and hope you can see it through my work.

well what should i say?

but the actual thing is so much more captivating. the quality is prestine. you know even my husband who doesnt

My husband received a big bonus at work and wanted to treat me to a piece of jewelry from Tiffany -- but I chose your necklace instead because I much prefer one-of-a-kind artisan jewelry over mass-produced pieces - even from Tiffany!
