Vintage Ceramic Shoulder Pin Brooch Flapper Girl 1930-1940

This piece is a jewelry brooch pin of a beautiful woman wearing a stylish green hat. She is made of a plastic type material. She is hand made, hand painted and her hat is hand crocheted. Truly a work of art. Her smooth beautiful delicate face is hand painted with striking eyebrows and expressive green eyes with long painted lashes. She has a cute nose and pretty lips with red painted lipstick. She has pretty blushing cheeks and black curly hair peeking out from under a vibrant green hand crocheted hat.

She reminds me of a Flapper Girl - beautiful and classy. She is in excellent condition. She is part of a private vintage doll collection and has been very well taken care of. I find only one mark of aging - the lower right base of the pin looks like it has a small chip in it. Everything else about her is in excellent condition - the hand painted face and the green crocheted hat. Very nice!

This was a hand made item and probably dates to the 1930 -1940's. There is a pin on the back to pin it to fabric to wear. It is signed on the back with "Walter W Giles". She measures approximately 2" in height.
