These bells have a BEAUTIFUL sound, and will make a great decoration in any place, for any occasion, or just to gaze upon every day. A pre-1948 piece weighing 3.7 ounces, this is a truly significant piece of Mexican Silver history.
I've put in as many photos as is allowed to show you the beauty of these silver bells. (Now that song "Silver Bells" is running through my head...I guess that's better than something like "Disco Duck")
The overall dimensions of these beautiful bells are approximately 5.5 inches high, 3.75 inches wide and 1.75 inches deep. The hallmarks are on the inside of both bells and both hallmarks are shown in the photos. They are STERLING, and a triangle that reads HECHO EN MEXICO DF F. RAMIREZ around the outside and 0.925 inside the triangle. F. Ramirez is noted by Bille Hougart in the book Mexican Silver Hallmarks. Items currently on the market by F. Ramirez include servers and ladles, so it is likely that F. Ramirez is most noted for kitchen and decorative pieces.
I'm offering these at a quite reasonable price...get 'em while they're hot!
